Purpose
- To recognize skilled welding students from across the country.
- Assess each contestant’s welding ability and skills and recognize outstanding student professionalism.
- To further the contestant’s desire to pursue a career in welding and the development of pride in craftsmanship.
Scope
Contestants will demonstrate their welding skills in an oxy fuel cutting contest.
Eligibility
This contest shall be open to ANY HIGH SCHOOLER. There is no limit to the number of entrants per school.
