Kentucky Welding Institute

CERTIFIED STRUCTURAL WELDER PROGRAM

PETER SIMMONS 5

The Program

Learn Safety, Fundamentals, & Production

Structural steel welding is a demanding and rewarding career, so your training should be just that.  KWI Instructors will knock the green off of you with a training day that could be mistaken for a work day on the job.  Hot work permits, job safety assessments and weld symbols will round out your training ensuring you can do more than weld in the field. This program is 100% self-paced meaning your hard work is rewarded with sharper skills. If you’re going to welding school you might as well select a training site that aligns their welding classes to what industry is demanding, KWI.

“I was as green as they come. I’m a city boy and had never welded before I came to Kentucky Welding Institute. The way it is run and the dedication and experience of the instructors made my experience a rewarding and successful one. We weld forty plus hours a week and that’s a lot; which allowed me to progress quickly. From day one the KWI staff made me feel confident in my decision; that this was the career for me and this is where I needed to train.”
